This love story begins where all good love stories begin – Martini Bar.

Well, not quite, but that’s the story Tom likes to tell.

After first exchanging phone numbers in 2015 to arrange a "study" session which never transpired, Tom and Sarah lost touch. That may have spelled the end for a weaker pair, but not for these two. Two years later, both in medical school, they were given a second chance at love - at Martini Bar.

They took that chance and ran with it, and in the seven years to follow, Sarah and Tom fell in love, became best friends (sorry Jon and Steve), and each other’s family. They’ve travelled the world together, taught each other the limitless joys of avocados (Tom teaching Sarah), and that running outdoors isn't an exclusively painful experience (Sarah teaching Tom).

Together they’ve tackled residency, a pandemic, long distance, Tom’s inability to hang up his coats, Sarah’s dislike of sushi, and the deaths of several houseplants, proving that all obstacles can be overcome. They now look forward to a lifetime of love, walks in the woods, and annual Christmas Potlucks.

Their next big story is entitled “Marriage,” and while they hope it will not begin at Martini Bar, they know it will be even bigger, better, and love-filled than any story they’ve written yet. They can’t wait to share the beginning of it with all of their friends and families on August 31st, 2024.
